Steel the Pirate King

Steel the Pirate King was a gift from our Brothers & Sisters of "Steel Serenity." He is the official mascot of TLotSK and as such, travels with us from faire-to-faire. This page and the pictures of Steel chronicle his travels across the Midwest. Enjoy the pictures and look for future "Steel Sightings" at a renaissance faire near you!

Steel is currently gathering his kit, or sailor's clothing and weapons. Rumor has it that he is getting the attentions of the Master Leathersmith at Black Pearl Leather.

21 June - Steel reported for ship's duty. He invaded the Jefferson City Renaissance Faire alongside TLotSK. His weapons of choice, at least for now, are his twin bullwhips. His hat is the creation of Ruby, Ship's Stitch Witch. While in port, he made the acquaintance of Elvendrums and Kaia. Steel enjoyed his time at JCRF and hopes to invade this port next year.

It was a rainy and overcast day in Grove. While a good time was had by all, sadly equipment malfunction did not leave that many photos of the fun event. Not all was lost, Steel's leatherwork arrived from Blackpearl Leather & Finery.

Steel attended DEFCON 7 with TLotSK, while there he met some famous folks and made new friends. Steel looks forward to attended DEFCON 8 next year!

A great time was had by all, including Steel. Steel had so much fun visiting that he wouldn't pose for pictures! He looks forward to next year's event which is scheduled for September!
