Prepare yourself for the cheesiest, most pyratical comedy you will ever hear (or see!). The Ladies of the Salty Kiss have left smiles and laughter in their wake at events all over the Mid West for the past five years.
Who are we? And what do we do?
We are an all
female comedy troupe portraying Crown Privateers, or "Legalized Pirates,"
spanning the Tudor through Cavalier eras in history. Based in N.E.
Oklahoma we are comprised of improvisation street performers who specialize in
Renaissance Faires around the Mid West. We are a unique and first of our
kind pirate crew - performing comedy rather than singing. We have over 20
combined years of performing experience at many different events and venues.
Simply put, we are Renaissance Faire actresses/re-enactors who love what we do
and love to share it with anyone who will stand still long enough to listen to
us. Currently, our crew boasts seven actresses, whose characters portray a number of countries from the Renaissance Era,
spanning the Old World and the New.
Our interests are as varied as our capabilities, each bringing her own
style to the group. We can offer your next event our unique blend of PG-13
double entendre, interactive comedy on stage through our original show: "Pyrate Boot Camp," our new
line of PG - 13 shows "Nautical Fairy Tales," and our PG-G line of
shows, "Pyrate Tales" for
the young and young-at-heart. We also provide patron interactions in the lanes
designed to not only
please patrons of all ages but, give them a slice of life they do not normally
see at a Renaissance Faire.
We also provide
costumed entertainment and education for Schools, Library Reading Programs,
Movie Promotions, and Private Parties. If you are looking for a fun, high energy patron
